Saskatoon Berry Antioxidant Capsules is ranked Canada's No. 1 product to slow down ageing and prevent ageing related diseases. You will Look and Feel Ten Years Younger Naturally, For Real.

BerryFirst Saskatoon Berry Capsules is the first ever and so far the only Health Canada approved natural health product based on Saskatoon berry. Using our innovative technology, a daily serving of 10 capsules (827 mg each) contains the real nutrition of over 10 servings (800g) of the fresh fruit.

Saskatoon berry, or Amelanchier alnifolia in scientific term, is a superb cold-weather fruit with edible berry-like fruit, native to Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, Canada. BerryFirst, as a company headquartered in Saskatoon, has the advantage of developing this unique product and bringing the outstanding health benefits to consumers.

The ORAC method shows that saskatoon berries are naturally high in antioxidants and rank highest in both fresh fruit and in fruit pulp relative to other common fruits. The ORAC (oxygen radical absorbance capacity) value is one of the most recognized methods used to measure the total antioxidant activity in fruit.

Research evidence shows that antioxidant rich fruits such as Saskatoon berry reportedly have anti-cancer, anti-ageing, and anti-heart disease effects on human body, reducing cardiovascular and inflammatory diseases, and acting as a protective guard to our immune systems.

Anthocyanins, antioxidant pigments from fruit and vegetables, also have a “significant potency” against fat cells and could be used for the prevention of weight gain, suggests a new study from Japan. Journal of Agricultural and Food Chemistry Volume 56, Number 3, Pages 642-646

Saskatoon berries appear to be an excellent source of manganese, magnesium, iron, calcium, potassium, copper and carotene. Saskatoon berries are considered a better source of calcium than red meats, vegetables and cereals. Recent research indicates saskatoons have very high components of phenolics, flavonols and anthocyanins. Saskatoons are high in natural sugar, rich in Vitamin C, and also contain more than three times as much iron and copper in the same weight as raisins. Saskatoon Nutrients: The Journal of Food Science – Volume 47 1982 Dr. G.
